When a seed is planted in you and the vision of what that seed can produce becomes so overwhelming that you can focus on nothing else - You move and put every bit of faith into what you see and feel in your core. When GOD has planted something amazing in you, you don’t ask questions, you ask him to guide your steps, give you the wisdom and direction and allow him to do things in His timing. God makes no mistakes!
During the pandemic, there was a lot of time to reflect and dig deeper into ourselves and ask those tough questions: “ Is this what I want to be doing?” “ Is there more to my life ?”, “If this was my last day on earth would I have any regrets?” “ How can I be more impactful?”
The pandemic filled just about every household with uncertainty and challenged our mental stability to its core. But during this time when even I was filled with uncertainty if my current business ( which by the way is a fitness studio) would survive such devastation and relying on my partner to secure me and pull me back from the mental edge I was so close to, this stirring would not settle I kept hearing a voice “ NOW IS A PERFECT TIME”. But how could that be, during a time when people didn’t know how they would feed their families, if they had a job or in many cases LIVE.

Sisu Athletics started as a conversation between a trainer and her client about the struggle to find great fitting clothes that compliment a woman’s curves, making her feel beautiful and not dig into her side or bunch up in inappropriate places.
Anyone who knows me knows that I am a firm believer, If you cannot find it, create it! For the last 2 years, I have researched several brands, purchased many items to test for flexibility, durability, and how well it transitions through the day. I have taken detailed surveys to see what women truly want and what they feel is missing in the current market, all of which brings me to Why Women Need Sisu More Than Ever.
We need a community, we need a place where not only our voices are heard but something is being done about it! Having great-looking, well-fitting clothes are great but what about connection to other women?
